St. James of Cyrrhus November 26
St. James of Cyrrhus was born in Cyrrhus, on the Euphrates, where he inhabited a small house. Later he withdrew from the town to live a severe and ascetic life, fighting evil spirits. He became known for his ascetic practices. He died in peace in the mountains near Cyrrhus. |
