Diocesan Seminarians Participate in the Annual Seminarian Dinner at the Archdiocese Headquarters

On Tuesday evening, November 7, 2006, the seminarians and their wives from the Diocese of Los Angeles and the West joined the seminarians and their wives from throughout the Archdiocese at the Annual Seminarian Dinner hosted by His Eminence, Metropolitan PHILIP at the Archdiocese Headquarters in Englewood, New Jersey.

 

The evening begin with His Eminence presiding over Great Vespers in St. John Chrysostom Chapel. Following the service, His Eminence blessed the food and dinner was served. The seminarians were treated to delicious Middle Eastern Cuisine. Following dinner, His Eminence addressed the group thanking them for making the commitment to the ministry. His Eminence then made time to see some of the seminarians individually in his office.

 

We are most grateful to His Emenince for opening his home that evening. We are also grateful to His Grace, Bishop ANTOUN, Father George Kevorkian, Archdeacon Hans El-Hayek, Subdeacon Charles Baz, and Kathy Meyer, for their loving and gracious hospitality.
