His Grace, Bishop JOSEPH's Episcopal Visit to the State of Alaska for the Feast of the Holy Nativity of our Lord

On Thursday, December 22, His Grace, Bishop JOSEPH arrived at Anchorage International Airport and was met by the Very Reverend Marc Dunaway, Dean of St. John Cathedral, the Very Reverend John Downing, Assistant Pastor of St. John Cathedral, Matthew Howell, Pastoral Assistant and his wife Anastasia Howell.

That evening Sayidna presided over the Daily Vespers Service. The Cathedral was almost filled with parishioners who came out on a Thursday night to welcome our Father and Chief Shepherd to St. John Cathedral. Sayidna  gave a short sermon following the service.

Sayidna then met with the college age parishioners of the parish. A wide variety of issues that affect a college student's life were discussed and Sayidna made sure the answer each and every question they had for him.
