His Grace, Bishop JOSEPH's Episcopal Visit to the State of Alaska for the Feast of the Holy Nativity of our Lord

On Saturday, December 24, Sayidna presided over Orthros and celebrated the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy for the Fore feast of the Nativity of Christ at All Saints of America Mission in Homer. Following the Divine Liturgy Sayidna presented each of the children in the parish with a gift and the parish gave Sayidna a gift from Father Paul's recent visit to Mount Athos. Sayidna then departed Homer and returned to Eagle River.

In the evening, Sayidna presided over Great Vespers for the Feast of the Nativity and joined the Cathedral's choir in singing Christmas Carols after the service.

 

Orthros and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy for the Fore feast

Father Paul does the Great Censing.

"Again we pray for our Father and Metropolitan PHILIP and for our Father and Bishop JOSEPH."

"Glory to the Holy Consubstantial Life-Giving and undivided Trinity..."

Deacon Steven intones the Great Ektenia.

"The Theotokos and Mother of light..."

His Grace venerates the Icon of All the Saints of America during Kairon.

His Grace chants the Great Doxology.

"O Lord, O Lord, look down from Heaven and behold..."

His Grace prays for the health and recovery of His Eminence, Metropolitan PHILIP.

"Take eat, this is My Body which is broken for you..."

"Drink ye, all of this, this is My Blood of the New Testament..."

His Grace elevates the Holy Gifts.

His Grace gives each of the children a Christmas gift.

Some of the parishioners play Christmas music.

The children of the parish sing Chirstmas Carols.

Father Paul presents His Grace a gift from his recent trip to Mount Athos.
