The Proskomedia and the Kairon on the day
of a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy On the day of a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, the priests and deacons do not say the Kairon prayers. The priest and deacon prepare the Proskomedia in the usual manner through the nine particles. After the ninth particle, the priest covers the chalice with a kalima and leaves the aer, both covers, and the star together on the right side of the table. The priest removes the first three loaves and leaves the last two in the center of the table.
